ELEUTHEROMANIA - Devlog 03 - More Progress!


Hello everyone, welcome to Devlog #03

On today’s Devlog, I will show guys the main menu, some more animations, and tell you what is the game all about and upcoming features and plans.

First, I let me introduce you guys the main menu, this new main menu has now a working options menu, now you can change the audio settings and resolution, and I’m trying to implement a feature that makes the game 4:3 Ratio, that can give the player more a nostalgic feeling. (Music will be changed due to belonging to another game: Cry of fear, the music was used just for testing.)

Second, I want to show you guys more animations for the future cutscenes of the game, as I previously mentioned the animation will be made in blender here’s some progress so far.

Cutscenes are something I’m focusing really hard, because these cutscene will be a big part for the game and will tell the story to the player.

Speaking of story, the story will be told from a narrator perspective, about an individual suffering from depression that lost the will to live, this individual feels stuck in a world of pain and suffering, in this story we follow the “journey” of this individual to seek his freedom and reach his goal in life.

That’s all I want to reveal for now, of course there are more twists in the story.

I also changed a little bit the tittle of the game adding the “desires and fears”, and changed the font of the title.

And final but not least, I almost finishing the game intro cutscene so here’s a little preview.
